- Climb for Freedom
The Climb for Freedom is a fundraiser to
benefit the spouses and children of the New York
City Firefighters, Police Officers and uniformed
Port Authority personnel who have lost their lives
in the September 11th tragedy. These brave souls had
the courage to save others, and their kids need to
be looked after. The lofty hope of Climb for Freedom
is to raise $100,000!
The climbers -- Scott Cory, Hans Florine, Tommy
Caldwell, & Beth Rodden
The goal-- To climb the combined height of the World
Trade Center Towers on Yosemite granite in a day!
The climb is scheduled to take place on October 2,
2001.
